Renovations are underway at an east end plaza for the opening of a Wild Wing restaurant.
The Canadian chain is set to open its second Guelph location at 320 Eastview Rd., on the northeast corner of the intersection with Watson Parkway North.
Attempts to reach the Wild Wing head office for details about the timeline for opening weren’t immediately successful. The phone number listed for the new franchise on the company’s website is not active.
The new restaurant is identified as "coming soon" on the Wild Wing website.
A liquor licence application notice is posted on the door, along with construction worksite safety information.
Across Eastview Road, construction of a new plaza is underway. That site will be home to a McDonald's restaurant, as well as a convenience store and gas station with car wash.
