Weather advisory in effect for:

  • Guelph - Erin - Southern Wellington County
  • Kitchener - Cambridge - Region of Waterloo

 

Winter Weather Travel Advisory in effect this morning.

The band of heavy snow that brought a quick few centimetres during the night has moved east of the region.

Additional precipitation is expected to move in later this morning. A wintry mix of freezing rain, snow, and ice pellets is possible. Precipitation will likely change to rain by this afternoon as temperatures rise above the freezing mark.

Travel may become difficult at times this morning due to the snow and possible freezing rain.
