Another long night for the Guelph Storm

Last-place Storm falls 6-3 in Sudbury

SUDBURY – The Guelph Storm's woes continued Friday night as they fell 6-3 to the Sudbury Wolves.

It was the 11th time in 18 games this season that the Storm has allowed five goals or more.

Guelph is dead last in the Western Conference with a 4-12-2-0 record.

Guelph outshot Sudbury 35-27, with starting goaltender Jacob Oster pulled after allowing the first five goals.

The Wolves led 2-1 after one period and 5-2 after two.

Sasha Pastujov, Valentin Zhugin and Peyton Robinson had the Storm goals.

Guelph hosts the Sarnia Sting on Sunday at 4 p.m.
