End of the road for Gryphon men

Lose to Carleton in OUA bronze medal game

With a trip to nationals on the line, the Guelph Gryphons lost the  OUA bronze medal game 4-1 to the Carleton Ravens in Ottawa Saturday night.

The Ravens scored on their first two shots on net, led 3-0 after the  first period, and never looked back.

Guelph's Sean Robertson scored the lone goal of the second period.

Andrew D'Agostini made 28 saves as the Gryphons were outshot 31-29 on the night.

Guelph played without injured regulars Carlos Amestoy, Tryg Strand, Lenny Fabbri and Rob Lepine. Leading scorer Rob De Fulviis dressed but couldn't finish the game due  to injury.
