Record now 3-3 on the season

The Guelph Royals saw their three-game Intercounty Baseball League winning streak snapped Saturday afternoon at Hastings Stadium.

The Toronto Maple Leafs scored seven runs in the final two innings of the game to hand the Royals an 11-8 defeat.

The same two teams meet Sunday in Toronto.

Josh Garton and Sean Reilly both homered for Guelph, while Justin Marra hit his sixth home run for the Maple Leafs.

Four Guelph players had two hits in the game.

Guelph starter Yunior Yambatis took the loss despite allowing only four of the runs.

Guelph's next home game is Tuesday when Burlington visits.
