SAGINAW - The Guelph Storm blew a 5-0 lead before winning it in overtime Saturday night in Saginaw, downing the Spirit 6-5,

Cedric Ralph completed his hat trick with a goal at 3:35 of the extra five minutes, assisted by Liam Hawel, who had three assists in the game.

Saginaw's Brady Gilmour had forced overtime, taking advantage of a terrible Ryan Merkley giveaway to score with eight seconds left in regulation.

Isaac Ratcliffe, Mason Primeau and Alexey Toropchenko had the other Guelph goals. Nico Daws, making his first start of the season in the Storm net, made 28 saves.

Gueph hosts the Sarnia Sting on Friday.
