The Guelph Storm has traded second-year winger Ty Collins to the Mississauga Steelheads.

In return the Storm receives a third round draft pick and a fifth round draft pick in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection. The third round pick originally belonged to the Saginaw Spirit.

Collins, 17, a Newmarket native, had four goals and two assists in 11 games this season.

Last season he had six goals and 10 assists in 48 games.

The Storm drafted Collins in the second round in 2018 after he scored 31 goals in 31 games with the York-Simcoe Express.

The Storm's next game is Friday night when they play in Sault Ste. Marie.
