KITCHENER – The Guelph Storm scored three times on the power play to earn its second win over the Kitchener Rangers in three days, skating to a convincing 5-2 victory at The Aud Tuesday night.

Vilmer Alriksson and Wil McFadden scored with the man advantage in the first period and it was all Storm after that.

Jake Karabela, Quinn Beauchesne and Braeden Bowman, the latter shorthanded, had the Storm goals while Damian Slavik made 19 saves in the Storm net.

Kitchener's Trent Swick faces a suspension after receiving a five-minute major and game misconduct for jumping Guelph's Max Namestnikov in the first period after Namestnikov delivered a hit on another Kitchener player in the corner. Swick, who is 10 inches taller than Namestnikov, immediately dropped his gloves and started throwing punches at the Guelph player, who never dropped his gloves.

Guelph plays its final home game of the regular season Thursday against Owen Sound then wraps up the regular season on the road with games in Owen Sound Saturday and London Sunday.
