OSHAWA – Former Guelph Storm goaltender Jacob Oster stopped all 25 shots as the Oshawa Generals blanked the Guelph Storm 2-0 Sunday night in Oshawa.

Oster was traded to the Generals early last season for Patrick Leaver, who was released by the Storm and now plays in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with St. John.

Damian Slavik, making his second start in the Storm net, was almost as good, stopping 21 of the 22 shots he faced.

Thomas Stewart's point shot midway through the second period, a shot that a screened Slavik never saw, was the game-winning goal. Stuart Rolofs iced the game with an empty net goal with 37 seconds left on the clock.

Guelph plays in North Bay Thursday and in Sudbury Friday before returning home to host Ottawa on Sunday.
