The Guelph Storm has signed three more players.

Forwards Steven Grant and Ben McFarlane along with defenceman Luca Profaca were signed Thursday night by the team.

General manager George Burnett said where the three will play this year has yet to be determined, “but we have signed them and we expect all three to be part of our future.”

The trio will play in the team’s two exhibition games this weekend: Saturday against Peterborough at 7 p.m. and Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. against Mississauga.

Grant, 17, was a 10th round pick in the 2017 Priority Selection. Last year he had three goals and 10 assists playing junior B for the Listowel Cyclones.

McFarlane was a fifth round pick in this year’s draft. Last year he had 21 goals and 16 assists playing for the Cambridge minor midget team.

Profaca was an eighth round pick in this year’s draft. He had three goals and three assists for the Mississauga Senators minor midget team.

Burnett said training camp is now down to 26 players (including the absent Ryan Merkley).
