The Guelph Storm has traded 19-year-old goaltender Bradley Van Schubert to the Owen Sound Attack.

In return the Storm gets a 12th round draft pick in the 2018 OHL draft and a conditional 8th round pick in the same draft.

Van Schubert was not in the Storm's plans for next season. They had already signed 17-year-old Anthony Popovich and traded for overage goaltender Liam Herbst.

Van Schubert, a 13th round pick in 2013, played in 37 games for the Storm over two seasons.

Last season the Barrie native posted an 0-16-1 record with a 5.31 goals-against avearage and 0.865 save percentage.

“We would like to thank Bradley and his family for his contribution to the Storm and we wish him the best of luck with the Attack”, GM Mike Kelly said in a press release.
