As of Saturday afternoon there were only a few standing room only tickets left for Sunday’s season finale for the Guelph Storm.

Guelph will host the Owen Sound Attack at 6:30 p.m. While the game is relatively meaningless for the Storm, it could be extremely important for the Attack. Heading into Sunday’s action they sit one point ahead of the London Knights for third place in the Western Conference. London plays at 2 p.m. earlier in the day against Sault Ste. Marie.

Saturday night in Erie, the Erie Otters scored three goals in a 2:20 span of the second period en route to a 5-2 victory over the Storm. Nate Schnarr and Albert Michnac had Guelph’s goals, both on the power play.

Erie outshot the Storm 47-16, with Anthony Popovich going all the way in the Storm net. Ryan Merkley had two assists for the Storm.
