Guelph Storm forward Danny Zhilkin has been suspended for four games by the Ontario Hockey League.
Zhilkin received a match penalty for cross-checking the Owen Sound Attack's Madden Steen in the face last Saturday in Owen Sound. It comes with an automatic two-game suspension, plus a review by the league for any additional discipline.
Zhilkin, who sat out Sunday's game against Ottawa, will be eligible to return on Dec. 30 when Guelph hosts Windsor.
He is currently second on the team with 25 points.
Guelph has a pair of games this weekend to wrap up the pre-Christmas portion of the schedule: Friday against Barrie and Saturday afternoon against Sault Ste. Marie.
