Over 30 house league hockey teams in Guelph are ready to take over the University of Guelph this weekend, and the community is invited to head over and cheer them on.
The Guelph Minor Hockey Association's house league championship weekend finishes up the GMHA season April 1-2 in six age divisions, ranging from U9 to U18.
Games will take place on both U of G rinks, as well as down the road at Centennial Arena. It all begins on Saturday at 8:30 a.m., and wraps up at 9 p.m. Sunday.
There is also a skills competition at the U18 level Saturday at 5:30 p.m. on the gold rink at U of G, marking the last season for those players at GMHA.
