Hurricanes wrap up regular season with tie

Set to open playoffs this week against Elmira

The Guelph Hurricanes wrapped up the regular season with a 4-4 tie against the first place Kitchener Dutchmen Saturday at the Sleeman Centre.

Fourth-place Guelph will open the playoffs later this week against the fifth-place Elmira Sugar Kings.

Guelph trailed 4-2 heading into the third period before goals by Chris Poletek and Jake Wyse tied it up. Cameron Stokes and Corson Searles had the other Guelph goals.

Christian Propp made 35 saves in the Hurricanes net.
