Despite having two games left in the regular season, the Guelph Hurricanes know they will meet the Elmira Sugar Kings in the first round of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League playoffs.
Guelph will finish fourth in the Midwestern Conference standings. Elmira fifth.
Game 1 of their best-of-seven opening round playoff series with the Elmira Sugar Kings goes March 5 at 7:30 p.m. in Guelph.
The rest of the series is as follows: March 6 in Elmira, March 8 in Guelph, March 9 in Elmira, March 12 in Guelph if necessary, March 13 in Elmira if necessary and March 14 in Guelph if necessary.
Guelph wraps up the regular season with a road game in Stratford Friday and a home game against Kitchener Saturday.
