LONDON – Braeden Bowman scored twice and Hunter McKenzie scored for the third straight game as the Guelph Storm extended its winning streak to four games with a 6-3 win over the London Knights Friday.

The final two goals came into the empty net as the Storm scored four unanswered goals in the third period.

Patrick Leaver won his second straight in net for the Storm since arriving in a trade from Oshawa, making 30 saves.

It was 2-2 after one period and 3-2 London after two.

McKenzie had the game winner, finding himself in the right place at the right time in front of the London net, tucking one in short side on London goaltender Brett Brochu.

Cooper Walker, Jake Murray and Max Namestnikov had the other Guelph goals. Matt Poitras had three assists.

The Storm plays in Owen Sound Saturday night.
