Thousands raised for Big Brothers Big Sisters Centre Wellington at McGinn Brothers Big Game

FERGUS - Jamie, Tye and Brock McGinn gave back to their hometown on Friday as hundreds turned out for the first annual McGinn Brothers Big Game ball hockey tournament in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters Centre Wellington.

Forty teams of both boys and girls competed in several age groups.

The highlight of the day came when top fundraisers and other lucky players got to play a ball hockey game against the McGinn brothers and some of their NHL friends that came to help celebrate the event.

Through fundraising by players and title sponsor RBC, over $60,000 was raised at the event, which will go to the Big Brothers Big Sisters Centre Wellington capital campaign.
