Nighthawks snap losing skid with home court thrashing

Only one regular season home game remains on schedule

The Guelph Nighthawks snapped their five-game losing streak Wednesday with a 96-80 win over the Montreal Alliance at the Sleeman Centre.

With five games remaining in the regular season, Guelph is now 7-8.

Ahmed Hill led Guelph with 26 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Georgi Bezhanishvili added 17 points and five rebounds and Cat Barber scored 14 points for Guelph with five rebounds and eight assists.

Guelph led 45-34 at the half.

Guelph heads west for games against Fraser Valley, Saskatchewan and Edmonton before returning home for their final regular season home game July 27.

They currently sit in sixth place.
