SAGINAW, MI. -- Isaac Ratcliffe had both the goals and Anthony Popovich made 31 saves to lead the Guelph Storm to a 2-1 win over the Saginaw Spirit Saturday night at the Dow Event Centre.
Ratcliffe scored on the power play early in the first period then midway through the second period to put the Storm up 2-0.
Nate Schnarr assisted on both goals.
Saginaw's Damien Giroux made it a one-goal game with 1:32 left in regulation.
The game featured just four minor penalties, two to each team.
The Storm (5-5-0-1) plays in Sault Ste. Marie (8-2-2) Sunday afternoon.
