Storm blown out in Saginaw

Saginaw scores four in the third in a 6-0 win over Guelph

SAGNAW, MI – The Saginaw Spirit scored once in each of the first two periods then blew the game open with four in the third Saturday in a 6-0 blanking of the Guelph Storm.

Damian Slavik allowed all six goals on 34 shots. Andrew Oke made 22 saves in the Spirit net for the shutout.

Guelph went 0-for-5 on the power play.

Josh Bloom had two goals for Saginaw, with singles going to Alex Christopoulos, Michael Misa, Hunter Haight and Will Bishop.

Guelph plays in Windsor Thursday. They host Saginaw Friday.
