Storm comes up short in nation's capital

Ottawa scores three times in the third to come away with a 4-1 win over the Guelph Storm

OTTAWA – The Ottawa 67's scored three unanswered goals in the third period to down the Guelph Storm 4-1 Friday night.

The game was tied 1-1 after 20 minutes, with Braeden Bowman getting credit for the Storm goal on the power play.

Ottawa's Jack Dever scored the eventual winner 3:15 into the third period. Dever had three points in the game.

The final Ottawa goal came into an empty net.

Brayden Gillespie made 21 saves in the Storm net and Guelph managed just 23 shots at the other end.

The Storm plays in Kingston Saturday night.
