Trio of Guelph connections on radar of CFL scouts

Guelph native Tavius Robinson ranks ninth on the fall edition of the CFL Scouting Bureau's top 20 list ahead of the 2023 CFL Draft

There's an early indication Guelph could feature prominently in the first couple rounds of next year's CFL Draft.

Three players, two Guelph Gryphons and one Guelph native, have made the CFL Scouting Bureau's fall top 20 prospects list.

Gryphons wide receiver Clark Barnes ranked 13th, while defensive back Siriman Harrison Bagayogo was a few spots down in 16th.

Barnes is coming off two catches for 30 yards in Guelph's 28-24 loss to Windsor Monday. Bagayogo recorded a tackle, blocked a punt and forced a fumble in that game.

Guelph native and former Gryphon Tavius Robinson was listed ninth. Robinson is in his senior year with the NCAA's Ole Miss.

This is the first of three rankings released ahead of the next CFL Draft, scheduled for next spring.
