A pair of losses on the weekend has the Guelph Royals sitting in sixth place in the Intercounty Baseball League standings.
Saturday the Royals surrendered three runs in the eighth inning and one in the ninth as they fell 8-4 to the Burlington Herd at Hastings Stadium.
Their record is now 7-13 on the season.
The Royals had nine hits in the game, two each by Brendan Keys and Darius Barlas. Starting pitcher Yomar Concepcion took the loss on the mound, allowing seven runs in seven and one third innings.
The Royals fell 11-10 in 13 innings to the Hamilton Cardinals Friday night in Hamilton.
Guelph will host the league-leading Kitchener Panthers Tuesday night.
