Two vehicles were badly damaged after a collision on Edinburgh Road Wednesday afternoon.
Police say the collision occurred around 3 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Edinburgh Road South and Water Street between a Kia Cube and a four-door Toyota sedan.
No serious injuries were reported and no one was taken to hospital, although paramedics were on the scene, as was Guelph Hydro assessing nearby power lines and a utility pole.
Police said an eight-year-old passenger of one of the vehicles was assessed at the scene.
Both roads remained open.
