Almost $6,000 worth of tools taken from work trucks

Guelph Police are investigating after almost $6,000 worth of tools were stolen from work trucks at a Dawson Road business.

On Tuesday morning police were called to a business on Dawson Road near Speedvale Avenue West. Two work trucks were entered overnight after the bed covers were pried open. Two quick-cut saws and a laser level with a combined value of $5,800 were stolen.

Video surveillance revealed a female entered the property approximately 12:40 a.m. and loaded the tools into a wheelbarrow before leaving the property. She was described as wearing a white FILA shirt over a yellow long-sleeve shirt, jeans and black shoes.
