Argument leads to several charges

A Guelph man faces several charges following a disturbance Monday evening.

Approximately 6:15 p.m. police were called to an address in the area of Bagot Street and Willow Road for reports of a disturbance. Investigation revealed a man and woman had been arguing when the man stole the woman's keys and entered her apartment in the area.

The man is bound by an undertaking and probation terms with conditions not to contact the woman.

A 34-year-old Guelph man is charged with three counts of failing to comply with probation, two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking and theft under $5,000.
