A Guelph male faces weapons charges after he was arrested Tuesday on an outstanding warrant.
Tuesday morning, officers patrolling near Westmount Road and London Road West spotted a male wanted on outstanding charges including motor vehicle theft and dangerous driving. He was stopped and arrested.
A search subsequent to arrest revealed a folding knife, bear spray and brass knuckles.
A 25-year-old Guelph male is further charged with two counts of carrying a concealed weapon, possessing a prohibited weapon and three counts of breaching court orders. He was held for a bail hearing.
