Arrests made in Mount Forest drug seizure

On Feb. 2, 2018 Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) and West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant in the 500 block of Princess Anne Street, Mount Forest, Ont. 

A quantity of marijuana, cocaine, cannabis resin, and LSD along with Canadian currency was seized. The approximate street value of the seizure is estimated at $15,000.  

Four men, all of Mount Forest, have been charged with the following offences contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada and the CDSA. 

Adam Fletcher, age 21, is charged with the following offences:

  • Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of cannabis resin for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of cannabis resin over 1 gram

Ryan Wells, age 18, is charged with the following offences:

  • Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of cannabis resin for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of LSD
  • Possession of marijuana under 3 kg for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of cannabis resin over 1 gram
  • Unauthorized possession of a weapon

Eric Wells, age 20, is charged with the following offences:

  • Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of cannabis resin for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of marijuana under 30 grams
  • Possession of cannabis resin over 1 gram

All three parties were held for bail.

A fourth male party, age 18, will be summonsed and charged with:

  • Possession of a marijuana over 30 grams
  • Possession of cannabis resin over 1 gram
