Awoken early Wednesday by the sound of someone entering his bedroom, a Downtown resident didn’t think much of it at first, assuming it was one of his roommates, say Guelph Police.

However, when he got up to check it out, he saw a male running from the apartment and two laptops were subsequently discovered missing from the living room.

Police were called to an apartment building near the intersection of Wyndham Street North and Cork Street East at about 2:30 a.m. An investigation is ongoing.

The only description of the suspect is a male wearing a dark grey hoodie, states a news release.
