A 43-year-old Guelph man faces a trio of charges and spent Monday night in jail following an assault in the city’s north end.
Police responded to a home in the area of Silvercreek Parkway North and Greengate Road at about 10:30 p.m. A caller advised a man known to them had entered the home and assaulted them, a news release explains.
Threats were also uttered and damage was caused to a wall inside the home.
The accused was located about 90 minutes later and arrested, spending the night in jail. He is charged with assault, uttering threats and mischief.
