TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH-ERAMOSA - On Feb. 15, 2020 at approximately 5:20 p.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a 911 call at an eating establishment located on the Main Street in Rockwood. It was reported that two people known to each other were fighting on the balcony above the business.
As a result of the investigation, John David Nicholson, 56-years-old of Guelph-Eramosa Township has been charged with assault and utter threats to cause death contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of Justice - Guelph on March 20. 2020 to speak to the charges.
