The Saturday afternoon storm caused extensive damage throughout the city, including the roof being torn off part of a business, but no reported injuries, say police.
Emergency crews were called to an Edinburgh Road South plaza, near Municipal Street, at about 12:30 p.m. when a portion of roof was torn off the building and tossing into the parking lot, causing extensive damage to at least seven vehicles, notes a news release..
