Business window smashed, cash and product taken, say police

Saturday morning incident remains under investigation

Staff at a downtown-area business called police Saturday morning to report a smashed window and several “disturbed” areas. It was later determined a “small amount” of cash and product was taken.

Police were called to the area of Gordon Street and Wellington Street East at about 7:45 a.m.

Surveillance video revealed the break-in happened a little more than an hour earlier.

The suspect is described a male with an average build. At the time of the break-in, he was wearing a grey hoodie, dark pants, a white face mask, grey gloves and white shoes with black soles. He was also carrying a black backpack.
