Stopped on Thursday evening, the driver of a pickup truck is accused of going 146 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.

A Cambridge man faces speeding and stunt driving charges after being stopped by Guelph police for allegedly travelling 146 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.

The pickup truck was stopped at about 7:25 p.m. on Thursday in the area of Speedvale and Elmira roads, police explained in a social media post.

In addition to the charges, the 27-year-old man’s licence was automatically suspended for 30 days and his truck was impounded for two week
