Car found in ditch. Passenger ends up arrested

Passenger charged

GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP – On December 26, 2016 at approximately 11:50 a.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Officer went to check on the occupants of a 2004 Subaru that had entered a ditch on Indian Trail near Wellington Road 44, Guelph-Eramosa Township. 

Police discovered that a passenger in the car was not following a court order and was arrested.  During the search, suspected cocaine was found on him.

18-year-old Skylawn Johnson, of Mississauga, has been charged with fail to comply with a recognizance contrary to the Criminal Code and possession of cocaine contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on February 9, 2017.
