A Guelph man’s list of charges grew on Thursday, after he was arrested on outstanding warrants and was reportedly found to be carrying a concealed weapon.
Police officers were patrolling in the downtown area shortly before 2 p.m. when they spotted a man known to be wanted on two separate arrest warrants for breaching court orders, a news release states.
The man was arrested. During a subsequent search, officers allegedly found a wood-handled knife and a collapsible baton.
A 41-year-old man is charged with carrying a concealed weapon, in addition to three counts of breaching a probation order and two counts of failing to appear for fingerprinting.
