A man sustained minor injuries when he was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle Tuesday evening.
Just before 7 p.m., emergency services were called to the intersection of Edinburgh Road North and Speedvale Avenue West. Investigation revealed a cyclist was in the crosswalk when he was struck by a vehicle and knocked to the ground.
The man sustained a minor leg injury but declined medical attention. The driver was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with making an unsafe turn.
