TOWNSHIP OF MAPLETON - On July 26, 2018, at approximately 4 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a farm accident on Sideroad 15, near Conestoga Lake. A farmhand was found deceased in an underground holding tank.
The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Pieter Albertus Vandenbrink of the Netherlands.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation and the Ministry of Labour has been called in.
