On Dec. 16, 2018 at approximately 2:13 a.m., Guelph Police were called to a disturbance on Wyndham Street North by Cork Street. It was learned that a male was knocked unconscious by a group of males, and possibly a beer bottle was used to knock the male out. The group of males were last seen running southbound on Wyndham Street.
The male was taken to hospital for his injuries with the assistance of paramedics. The male suffered multiple lacerations to his face as a result of the incident.
Guelph Police believe that people that were in the area of the disturbance may have recorded the incident. Anyone with information about this incident is advised to contact PC A. Mclachlan at [email protected]. Anonymous information can be left by calling CRIME STOPPERS at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
