A Brantford-area man was arrested Sunday after he was linked by DNA to a Guelph break and enter earlier this year.
A south end business was entered March 25, 2022, after two males smashed a window with a sledgehammer to gain entry. Blood was located at the scene and collected by the Guelph Police Service Forensic Identification Unit. Analysis by the Centre of Forensic Science connected the blood to a male on the national DNA database.
On Sunday, a 42-year-old Ohsweken man turned himself in and was charged with break and enter. He will appear in a Guelph court in January.
