TOWNSHIP OF PUSLINCH - On Apr. 12, 2017 Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call from a victim of a fraud.

Investigation revealed that the victim had received a call from someone claiming to be from Toronto Dominion Visa Department. The suspect told the victim that her bank account was being investigated by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and provided the victim with the name of a Constable said to be with the RCMP. The victim permitted the suspect remote access to her computer and at that time money was transferred from her Visa to her Bank Account. The victim then sent a Money Transfer to the suspect.
