A 20-year-old Guelph man had his licence suspended and vehicle impounded after being nabbed going more than twice the speed limit on Stone Road East on Sunday afternoon.
Guelph Police tweeted about the incident Monday.
The driver was stopped after being caught on speed radar travelling 129 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone, between Victoria and Watson roads, at about 4:45 p.m.
The accused is charged with racing, noted spokesperson Scott Tracey. His driver’s licence suspended for 30 days and vehicle impounded for two weeks.
