An elderly Guelph male was taken to hospital with minor injuries after his motor vehicle collided with a pole Monday afternoon.
Guelph police were called just after 2 p.m. to a reported single-vehicle collision on Imperial Road North at Sugarbush Place. A van had gone off the road and struck a hydro pole. The 80-year-old driver sustained minor injuries.
The collision was determined to have been caused by a medical issue.
