The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid charges in an intimate partner sexual assault investigation that occurred in the Town of Erin and the Municipality of Halton in 2021. A 36-year-old resident of Erin has been charged with two counts of sexual assault, contrary to the Criminal Code and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice - Guelph, on May 30, 2023.
