Three teens face weapons charges after police recovered a replica firearm Friday.

Guelph police report that shortly before 3 p.m., police were informed of a male possibly in possession of a weapon at a business near Eramosa Road and Stevenson Street North.

Officers arrived and saw three males standing together. One of the males reportedly handed a black bag to another male and the three walked away in separate directions.

All three males were stopped.

A search of the bag revealed a replica Glock firearm. Two 16-year-old males and a 15-year-old male, all from Guelph, are charged with possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and breaching court orders.
