A Guelph female faces charges for allegedly defrauding a provincial social services agency of $12,965.
Guelph police received a complaint from the agency in November about a possible fraud. As a result of the subsequent investigation, a 28-year-old Guelph female was arrested Wednesday and charged with fraud over $5,000.
Police said they will not be identifying which agency as it does not identify victims of alleged crime.
She will appear in a Guelph court March 1.
