Female wanted on drug, weapons charges since March turns herself in

A Guelph female who was wanted on drug and weapons charges related to an incident in March has been arrested.

She was wanted in connection with an incident in March in which several people fled a vehicle in a parking lot on Woolwich Street near Speedvale Avenue West. A search of the vehicle uncovered $4,000 worth of cocaine, $880 worth of crystal methamphetamine, three conducted energy weapons, a pellet pistol and drug trafficking supplies.

Two 26-year-old Guelph males were earlier arrested in connection with the investigation.

A 41-year-old Guelph female turned herself in Monday.  She is charged with three counts each of possessing a prohibited weapon and possessing a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. She will appear in a Guelph court September 24, 2021.
