Fentanyl valued at over $5,000 allegedly found on Guelph man arrested in Brantford

BRANTFORD – On Thursday members of the Brantford Police Street Crime Unit commenced a drug investigation which led to the arrest of a 21-year-old male from Guelph.

The arrest occurred on Colborne Street, near Charlotte Street, Brantford.

As a result of the investigation, police seized approximately 19.16 grams of suspected fentanyl with an estimated street value of $5,170. A quantity of cash was also seized. The accused male is charged with possession for the purposes of trafficking and has been held for bail.
