Fergus resident charged with trafficking after multiple opioid overdoses

FERGUS - Members of the OPP Wellington County Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) conducted a drug investigation into multiple non-fatal opioid overdoses, which culminated with the execution of a search warrant on Aug. 3, 2020, at a residence on Gowrie Street in Fergus.

 As a result of the investigation, Natasha Page, 32 years old of Fergus, has been charged with:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (two counts).

The accused has been remanded in custody and will appear in court at a later date.
